| 1957-58 end carb throttlebodies A friend of mine and I had these reproduced. Others make them, but we think ours is the best out there. The throttlebody is aluminum, but easily be painted cast gray to duplicate the originals. The throtleblades are brass, and seal very well. We go ahead and use the DAG 213 as GM recommended "back in the day." The sealer will not wash off; it is more or less permanent. I carry front and rear. The front is different in that it has a 1/8" NPT vacuum port for the power brake fitting and line to the power brake assist. Also fit 348 and Olds J-2 end carbs. Guaranteed to satisfy....  | K & N Air Filter Elements Price is for a set of three (3) elements. Just the elements. Note that K & N also sells a complete set with lids and bases for the tripowers. However, the quality of the lids and bases does not compare to the show quality reproduction lids and bases sold on the page. This item is only the three filter elements. These should improve your motors breathing. They are easily cleaned and should never need replacing. They fit perfectly in the original air cleaner bases, like the GTOs had. Same size and shape as the paper elements. I bought these in large quanitiy from distributor which yielded not only a better price structure, but also free shipping (to me.)  | 1957-1965 Electric Choke Conversion choke cup. Comes with new screws (3) and plated clips (3). Fits 59 to 65 center carbs. Simple install. Provides choke when blocking the crossover. The internal tube in the manifold is a closed loop, so it is not necessary to block the ends. In this case, you can see the tps of screws used to block the tubes. I did not leave them like this. The tubes had been removed...so I had to block the openings. I ended up grinding down the heads of the screws so they looked more like a rivot.... (Read More) | $40.00 |
 | 57-58 End Carb Throttleblades This also fits all small base Rochester end carbs, including J-2 Olds, 348s, and early Caddys. Excellent quality. A friend of mine and I had these manufactured here is the USA. This is a precision fit item. Although this is an exact copy of the original, installation in a used throttlebody does not guarantee a perfect result. I include a small qantity of DAG213 which will be required to seal these perfectly. It looks like black paint and is applied to the edges of the throttleblades after installation. Screws included. You need to glass bead all surfaces prior to assembly. If you do not have the equipment available to glass bead the parts, you have another option. I can restore your throttlebodies for you. | Fuel inlet threads for end carbs It is not unusual to find the fuel inlet threads on your 1959 to 1966 end carbs worn out. If you see Teflon Tape on the fittings, or if the brass fuel fitting screws all the way in and is not tight, you likely need this service. It requires you to send me the airhorn. The new thread insert is not a Helicoil, but similar. The fuel inlet threads are tapered (1/8" NPT.) I have a special fixture that your airhorn bolts onto. This fixture is secured to my drill press to make sure the new threads are aligned perfectly. The new insert is not visible when lines are installed. | New, Blackened, Screw and Washer Sets A set of 22 screws...correct slot and head...Blackened..per originals. Many tripowers have screws that have been damaged over the years from careless removal and/or using the wrong size scredrivers. I have received many requests for this item and have resisted selling my stock. Here is the reason...I buy them in lots of 100 to 200 for each size. There are 4 different sizes of screws and they come zinc plated..silver. So, I glass bead each screw, treat them with Phosphoric Acid solution and seal them. Just a lot of work. But, last week I bought a large quatity, hired a friend to help, and we blasted and colored screws all day. Such fun. If noone buys any, I will eventually use them in my restorations.
