1959-1966 End Carb Throttlebodies
These are excellent quality and seal as well or better than what Rochester made.  They are not the ones you see by various suppliers for 75. to 99. These are not made in China, but in USA by a quality craftsman. These are aluminum, but I usually paint correct cast gray, if you specify as you place in cart.  Specify front or rear. No disappointments. Come with necesssary gaskets.... (Read More)

1966 Electric Choke Conversion
If you have blocked the runner in the heads, or the crossover and have lost your choke, this may be what you need.  I use parts from other early Rochester carbs to mount a choke cup (same as 59 to 65 center carbs) where the pull-off would have mounted. I modify this the cup to accept vacuum from the same source on the throttlebody the 66 pull-off uses.  You do not have to remove the 66 choke shaft.  This is a bolt-on.  All screws, gaskets and parts you need are included. No need to remove carb to install.  Electric one wire choke insert is new.  E-MAIL ME BEFORE ORDERING AS AVAILABILITY IS LIMITED. Guaranteed. Special thanks to Rich Roeder, for sending me these pitures of the choke set up I built for him!... (Read More)

1957-58 end carb throttlebodies
A friend of mine and I had these reproduced.  Others make them, but we think ours is the best out there.  The throttlebody is aluminum, but easily be painted cast gray to duplicate the originals. The throtleblades are brass, and seal very well.  We go ahead and use the DAG 213 as GM recommended "back in the day."  The sealer will not wash off; it is more or less permanent. I carry front and rear.  The front is different in that it has a 1/8" NPT vacuum port for the power brake fitting and line to the power brake assist. Also fit 348 and Olds J-2 end carbs. Guaranteed to satisfy.... (Read More)

Carb airhorn front or rear
Excellent repro. Held side by side, you cannot tell difference between this and original. Some say the GM is printed upside-down.  They are half wrong.  OEM airhorns came with the GM logo facing either direction.  Perfect fit. Replace your airhorn with broken air cleaner mount, or damaged fuel inlet threads. Or, contact me to repair your old airhorn. You can choose the finish that comes on it ...dull and blotchy See picture..sorry.)  By the way, this is how all of them are, from other suppliers as well.  They all come from the same source. And the same counry...you guess..starts with a C. Or, I can glass bead the part and leave it natural.  Third choice, I can blast it and dye with Eastwood. Most people apply Eastwood incorrectly and it looks awful.  Do... (Read More)

1/4" Phenolic Insulator kit 1957-58
This kit also fis the popular 348s, and Olds J-2 as well as the Early Pontiacs.  If your tripower has three small Rochester carbs, this fits. Kit includes three precision cut insulators, set of 12 studs and new, plated nuts.  Studs are made for this application...not a generic piece.  Studs have the correct 5/16-18 threads into intake and 5/16-24 up on top.  Kit includes 6 gaskets, which you will need. Solves issues with fuel boiling in the bowls, spilling onto the intake, and flooding the motor. See, also, the 1/2" sets available.... (Read More)

1966 Center Choke Conversion kit
Everything you need to convert many regular Pontiac 2 bbls from 1959 to 1967 to accept the choke pull-off. If your airhorn (top) does not have the casting flange to mount the choke pull-off (two screws #8) then this is what you need.  Slick deal. Not for correct restoration, but not very noticable, either. Requires some mods I can describe.  Just need a drill. E-mail me for details. Look at the installation in the picture.  This is a 59 to 67 regular 2 bbl airhorn.  It has the SS vent strip and the floatbowl vent, as does the correct 66 airhorn. So, this carb looks very much like the correct 66 center carb. This carb is colored with Eastwood, done correctly. I built this carb for a customer who needed a clone 66 center carb.... (Read More)

1957-1965 Electric Choke Conversion
This one wire electric choke fits inside your stock Pontiac (or, even a Chevrolet) choke cup. Comes with new screws (3) and plated clips (3). Fits 59 to 65 center carbs. Simple install. Provides choke when blocking the crossover.  The internal tube in the manifold is a closed loop, so it is not necessary to block the ends.  In this case, you can see the tips of screws used to block the tubes.  I did not leave them like this.  The tubes had been removed...so I had to block the openings.  I ended up grinding down the heads of the screws so they looked more like a rivot.... 59-66 end carb throttleblades
Excellent quality.  Several manufactures have attempted this over the years.  This is a precision fit item. Although this is an exact copy of the original, installation in a used throttlebody does not guarantee a perfect result.  I include a small qantity of DAG213 which will be required to seal these perfectly.  It looks like black paint and is applied to the edges of the throttleblades after installation. Screws included. You need to glass bead all surfaces prior to assembly.  If you do not have the equipment available to glass bead the parts, you have another option. I can restore your throttlebodies for you.  Usually, I find customers do not need new throttleblades when I inspect them.  When I restore a pair of end throttlebodies, I charge 110. a pa... Fuel inlet threads for end carbs
It is not unusual to find the fuel inlet threads on your 1959 to 1966 end carbs worn out.  If you see Teflon Tape on the fittings, or if the brass fuel fitting screws all the way in and is not tight, you likely need this service.  It requires you to send me the airhorn.  The new thread insert is not a Helicoil, but similar.  The fuel inlet threads are tapered (1/8" NPT.)   I have a special fixture that your airhorn bolts onto.  This fixture is secured to my drill press to make sure the new threads are aligned perfectly.  The new insert is not visible when lines are installed.  It is more of a barrel type insert than the Helicoil.  I have never had a problem with them. Price includes insert, machine work and shipping back in the USA... (Read More)

New, Blackened, Screw and Washer Sets
A set of 22 screws...correct slot and head...Blackened..per originals.  Many tripowers have screws that have been damaged over the years from careless removal and/or using the wrong size scredrivers.  I have received many requests for this item and have resisted selling my stock.  Here is the reason...I buy them in lots of 100 to 200 for each size.  There are 4 different sizes of screws and they come zinc plated..silver.  So, I glass bead each screw, treat them with Phosphoric Acid solution and seal them.   Just a lot of work. But, last week I bought a large quatity, hired a friend to help, and we blasted and colored screws all day.  Such fun. If noone buys any, I will eventually use them in my restorations. Go ahead, make your tripower proud wit... (Read More)

Throttleblade Sealer DAG
This is the VERY hard to find sealer that GM used "back in the day."  I am told there was a Service Bulletin that addressed complaints about rough idle on the tripower cars.  The bulletin described how to apply the sealer and directed the mechanic to the parts counter for a small vile of sealer, a small paint brush, and directions. DAG213 does an excellent job,. but will not help badly pitted throttleblades, or badly pitted bores.  I use this product on all the end carb throttlebodies I restore. I have seen some criticize this product.  Hmmm.  Can't understand that. You want a good idle, you need to have the end carb throttleblades sealed the best you can.  I still find it on some of the end carbs I restore.  I have heard some criticize this produc...
